Prairie Pts Echinsu Ocha Gabriel – AKA “Gabby”
EIC Clear

Gabby is a very light yellow colored dog. She is actually almost white with just a few darker accents. She also has nice black pigment in her nose and toes. I receive compliments on her looks every time I take her out of the kennel. She is a great looking dog. I expect her to reach the 60 lb range by the time she is full grown.

Gabby is currently working on some beginning stages of advanced retriever training. She has just about completed her Force Fetch program and I will continue with her from there. She has great retrieving desire and has been very easy to work with to this point. She seems to pick up on things very quickly and is definitely eager to please.

I usually don’t expect too much of a pup at this age out in the hunting field. I do like to take young dogs out when the correct opportunity arises. Gabby has truly blown me away with what I have seen her do this season. She is consistently pointing wild birds and is a retrieving machine. The past two weekends she has actually retrieved more birds than any other dog in my kennel!!! She is not even 1 year old yet. I have actually had her out hunting with groups of 8-10 people and 4 or 5 dogs hunting in the group the last two weekends because she has shown me she can handle it. You can tell she is a puppy by looking at her, but you can’t tell it by hunting behind her.
She has shown signs of pointing from an early age. She pointed the first bird I put her on and has not stopped since. She also transitioned from the planted birds this summer to actual wild birds in the field. The sky is the limit for this little dog and I expect big things out of her.

She achieved her CPR titled at the Okoboji, IA APLA event on 5/30/09
